Healthcare Innovation Expo

The Healthcare Leadership Council believes that members of Congress can make better-informed decisions on important health policy issues if they can see firsthand the new treatments, technologies and medicines that are improving the lives of patients and healthcare consumers.

That’s why, each year, HLC sponsors an Innovation Expo on Capitol Hill. This is an opportunity for HLC member companies and organizations to present their new and noteworthy innovations to lawmakers and influential congressional staff. Members of Congress have remarked at the event that it’s one thing to hear testimony about the benefits of, for example, health information technology, but another thing altogether to personally test the technologies that are improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare.

The most recent event, featured displays from Ascension, Baxter, Bristol-Myers Squibb, City of Hope, Cotiviti, Epic, Guardant Health, Johnson & Johnson, Leidos, LifeScience Logistics, McKesson, Stryker, Surescripts, Tivity Health, Vizient and Wellvana.
