Lawmakers Witness Healthcare Transformation in Action

HLC Innovation Expo on Capitol Hill Draws Packed House to See New Services, Technologies, Medicines

At the HLC Innovation Expo, new House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) is briefed on Merck’s research in immuno-oncology to bring new hope to patients with cancer.

Over 150 members of Congress participated in this week’s Healthcare Leadership Council Innovation Expo, interacting with new tools, technologies and treatments presented by 15 of the nation’s premier healthcare companies and organizations.

The event is hosted annually by HLC to provide a hands-on demonstration on the ways in which companies from multiple sectors are making healthcare more accessible and quality-driven.
