Many of the nation’s most innovative healthcare companies, from multiple health sectors, displayed their newest and most exciting products, services and initiatives for members of Congress this week at the annual Healthcare Leadership Council Innovation Expo on Capitol Hill.

The event featured displays from Aetna, AMN Healthcare, Ascension, athenahealth, Boehringer Ingelheim, Change Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, Leidos, McKesson, Medtronic, Merck, Nestlé Health Science, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Premier, Stryker, Surescripts, Walgreens, and Weight Watchers.

HLC president Mary R. Grealy pointed out that the Expo is valuable to lawmakers, whose decisions on health policy matters can be better informed by seeing firsthand the patient-centered innovations that are improving lives and making healthcare more quality-driven and cost-efficient.
