Group letter to CMS opposing proposed remote monitoring restrictions in the 2027 Physician Fee Schedule

HLC also joined a coalition letter urging CMS not to finalize proposed changes to remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) and remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) in the 2027 Physician Fee Schedule proposed rule that would restrict clinically integrated partnerships and create new operational barriers to delivering these services. The letter warned that the proposals could disrupt access to technology-enabled care for Medicare beneficiaries, particularly those managing chronic conditions, and undermine efforts to advance more proactive, coordinated care models.
