Addressing Drivers of Health Through Public-Private Partnerships

HLC convened stakeholders for an event entitled, Helping Patients and Communities: Opportunities to Improve Health. Thought leaders representing companies and non-profit organizations, academia, and government discussed existing innovations and considered opportunities to expand public-private partnerships to improve health.

This resulting policy brief discusses public-private partnership innovations and solutions to address non-clinical drivers of health. In line with the Administration and HHS Secretary Kennedy’s ‘Make America Healthy Again’ (MAHA) agenda, the paper highlights an increasing focus on how these factors impact a person’s health – from nutrition, food quality and safety, to physical activity and environmental impacts.
