Joe Hill

Joe Hill serves as Senior Director of Policy at the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), the leading association representing all segments of American healthcare. In this role, Mr. Hill advances HLC’s priorities related to data governance, innovation, and competition, helping to foster policies that support a more effective, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare system.

Prior to joining HLC, Mr. Hill served as Director of U.S. Public Policy at the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP), where he was the organization’s primary liaison to Congress. Previously, he served as Director of the Government Relations Division at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), advocating on key healthcare issues before members of Congress and their staff. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hill was Government Affairs Manager for the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP).

Mr. Hill holds a Master of Arts degree in political science from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
